The subject "Experimental Research in Nutrition" of the Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics of the University of Barcelona offers the necessary training in the experimental research in the field of Nutrition and, particularly, that related to studies in laboratory animals. From the point of view of animal welfare and reduction in their use, there are not practical classes, but there is a visit to an Animal Experimentation Unit that provides the training required for the students.
