What does it mean to transform when the practices of art, science, technology, and society—from studios and laboratories to S+T+ARTS residencies—alter imaginaries, data, and institutions? What counts as impact when what is valuable is relational and situated: changes in habits, communities, prototypes that orient policies? Can we measure without flattening, evaluate without domesticating, document without erasing conflict and care? Who decides what counts—agencies, funders, the citizenry—and with what indicators? How do we sustain risk and responsibility in ecosystems where the process weighs as much as the result? Where do we situate the fertile error, failure as learning? And how do we imagine practicable—sustainable—futures where art opens questions, science contrasts, technology mediates, and society governs?
