The nursing process begins with data collection. Communication and observation are basic tools for this process. Objective: To present a strategy Rol Playing training nurse-patient communication in the process of nursing care. Methodology: Action Research Method: Video recording of the Rol Playing back in small groups with critical analysis. Results: Improved knowledge, understanding and learning of communication in the nurse-patient relationship. Conclusions: The Rol Playing game is a suitable technique for the adquisition of knowledge, attitudes and skills within the Nursing Care Process.
