Main Article Content

Pau Alsina

We now work in a network culture that cooperates on a local, metropolitan, national and international level, in which ICTs play an important role in emphasising this connectivity – a connectivity that takes place on different territorial scales and that allows for the creation of a locally distributed network that then links to international networks. It also naturally promotes intersections between different disciplines, such as science and technology with the arts and humanities, as a strategy for cultural innovation and growth. Environments are created that enable interrelations between different fields of knowledge and areas of industry, education, research or communication.
