We compare the perceived utility of two therapeutic skills training methods for clinical psychologists (n=149): the peer conuselling (PC) and role-playing (RP). In addition, we examined the degree of discomfort and the relationship between personality and perceived utility. The PC was considered more useful than RP, and people with greater "responsability" and "emotional stability" considered it more useful. The discomfort experienced was significantly lower than anticipated.
