Abstract
La contratación de profesores asociados está comportando una elevada litigiosidad en el seno de las universidades. Una parte importante de estos litigios encuentran su origen en el uso abusivo y/o fraudulento de la figura de los profesores asociados por parte de las mismas y, en especial, en la contratación de lo que se conoce como “falsos asociados”, es decir, de profesores asociados que no reúnen la exigencia legal de tratarse de especialistas de reconocida competencia que acrediten ejercer su actividad profesional fuera del ámbito académico universitario. La STSJ de Cataluña de 29 de mayo de 2015 que es objeto de este comentario, precisamente, aborda los efectos que cabe atribuir a esta contratación irregular de los profesores asociados.Rights
