Medievalia is the official journal of the Institute of Medieval Studies of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. It is devoted to research on the Middle Ages, adopting a decidedly interdisciplinary approach. The volumes which have been published so far gather a huge variety of studies focusing on the medieval period, both with a view to European as well as universal history. The large review section surveys recent debates and trends in historiography.
