How Can the Exercise of Citizens’ Rights in the Area of Electronic Administration Be Made Easier?

Citizens have seen their rights extended in their relations with public administrations thanks to the expansion of electronic media. However, this recognition has not been accompanied with the necessary development of e-Government. In this article we propose to analyse the different mechanisms which are envisaged by law and the means that public administrations offer to help citizens exercise their rights, giving an evaluation of their adequacy to respond to the needs which arise from citizens using electronic media in their relations with public administrations.
