The purpose of this article is to describe a didactic experience in which the levels of openness have been used as a constructivismbased teaching method to take into account the different skills that Higher-Level Vocational Chemistry Training Education students show at the chemistry laboratory. That heterogeneity is mainly due to the different ways students can enroll the course: High School Diploma with or without chemistry training, entrance examination or previous university studies.
