The Delphi method

The Delphi method is a qualitative technique which gathers information to obtain a convergence in the opinion of a group of experts through repeated consultation. This technique is recommended when there is insufficient information for decision-making or when researchers need to build consensus opinions within a group of experts. The article describes the main characteristics of the technique and the process of repeated queries used in its application.
