During digital age, social networks gradually affects individuals’ informal learning processes. Connectivist learning approach explains how learning occurs in digital networks. This theoretical study focuses on higher order thinking skills, which are essential for connectivist learning, and proposes a holistic view to this skills as “Creative and Critical Reflective Thinking (C&CRT) Skills” and a connectivist learning cycle with seven learning activity examples that require C&CRT skills.
