This paper aims to study the progress made in the implementation of service-learning at the Catholic University of the Santísima Concepción (UCSC) to know its level of institutionalisation and how it has been implemented. The methodology included using the institutionalisation rubric proposed by Furco and the evaluation rubric for service-learning projects developed by the GREM of the University of Barcelona. The population surveyed included members of the institutional Service-Learning Commission, teachers who had applied the Service-Learning methodology, students and community partners. In addition, two focus groups were conducted to complement the information obtained. As service-learning is consolidated, it is expected that mechanisms will be put in place to monitor the progress of its institutionalisation and evaluate the quality and impact of the projects developed, both in terms of the training of students and the communities that have benefited from it.
