Lluís Bertran i Pijoan, An Epigone within the ‘Noucentista’ Literary Sphere

This paper is an approach to the personality and literary career of the poet Lluís Bertran i Pijoan (1891-1959). Along with the analysis of his circle of friends and his role as a cultural dynamizer, the paper studies Bertran and Pijoan's connection with the world of journalism and his poetic and essayistic production, which show him to have been an epigone of ‘Noucentisme’.
