The object of study of the work , recognizing the importance of teachers to improve teaching science , is the initial formation of teachers. The scarcity of jobs and spaces Open discussion on the design and content of concrete proposals for initial training of teachers to teach science and the wide divergence in the scientific community about the purpose , content, and the most appropriate for this initial training, justify strategies that we ask and try to answer the following questions:

1. Which approach should be adequate in primary science teaching, and what characteristics must have a program of initial teacher training guided by this approach?

2. Is it possible to design and develop a program of initial teacher training, teaching sciences, I informed answer these characteristics?

3. Development of this program , is potentially significant for students? Does it produce improvements in their conceptions favoring their competence as teachers?

4. Transferable Is such a program oriented features and those assumptions?
