Abstract

The eighth Getting to know trades is a fully consolidated project in the town of Sabadell. The project consists of takilng part in 7 different vocational workshops to inform young people who at 16 years old are finishing ESO (compulsary education), and have to intention of contiuning to study, of the various trades in demand on the labour market. Its rise and development is linked to Pla Joves a la Feina scheme, aimed at promoting young people's approach to the labour market. which has enabled, and contiues to do so, a set of relationships to be established with professional educators and careers advisers in educational centres in the town.
