Abstract
After approval of the Constitution and the statutes of the Autonomous Communities, the latter embarked on the legal regulation of the social services. The resulling seventeen laws brought very substantial changes to the institutional structuring -and the identification- of the sector known as the social services. While the construction process itself has never stopped, seven communities have changed their initial laws. The following text examines the content of this regulation and reviews the new laws.Keywords
