La mujer migrante está expuesta a una doble vulnerabilidad, como mujer y como migrante, que afecta a su desarrollo profesional. Este trabajo tiene por objetivo comprender la situación de la mujer en el ámbito social y su desarrollo laboral desde la literatura científica para establecer las líneas prioritarias de acompañamiento sociolaboral.
Se desarrolla una revisión sistemática que analiza en profundidad veinte artículos. El
estudio cuenta con dos fases de búsqueda en Web of Science y Scopus, considerando
los términos “gender discrimination”, “violence” y “migrant”. Los resultados arrojan siete categorías emergentes, que se agrupan en dos macrocategorías: discriminación social y desarrollo laboral. El estudio presenta una discusión, destacando la discriminación cultural, de clase social y religiosa como primeras circunstancias que afrontan en su desarrollo profesional. La orientación sexual y los roles de género asociados a su cultura de origen y destino afectan a las posibilidades profesionales que se continúan explicando desde la segregación en el ámbito laboral, la brecha salarial y la fuga de cerebros en origen. Se discute sobre la pertinencia de prestar un acompañamiento que considere las claves particulares de cada mujer y la reivindicación de unas oportunidades
y condiciones laborales igualitarias, así como una cualificación profesional justa.
