Lliure per a tots? El coneixement com a barrera per a les comunitats tecnopolítiques a Espanya

Visions optimistes del seu potencial alliberador han acompanyat internet des dels seus inicis. No obstant això, les comunitats tecnopolítiques han defensat el coneixement lliure, però corren el risc d’adoptar nocions liberals quan hi ha una jerarquia grupal dependent de les capacitats tecnològiques o del temps que les persones inverteixin en un projecte (Coleman i Golub, 2008; Crabu et al., 2016). Mitjançant una metodologia combinada, cerquem comprendre els processos de presa de decisions i de formació de les comunitats tecnopolítiques a Espanya. Els resultats demostren que aquests projectes són col·lectius, i que les seves comunitats estan alineades amb la disponibilitat de materials públics a internet per a l’aprenentatge individual i els valors de suport mutu. No obstant això, han de considerar el desenvolupament d’estratègies de formació i de la presa de decisions més ben establertes per atreure més persones i perfils més diversos. Si no és així, corren el risc de generar una elit d’experts que poden gaudir del coneixement lliure, però que no poden col·lectivitzar-lo de manera efectiva i alterar el context del capitalisme informacional.

Dafne Calvo, Universitat de València

Doctora en Comunicació i becària postdoctoral a la Universitat de València. Amb diverses estades a centres de recerca internacionals, ha treballat com a integrant d’equips en diversos projectes competitius de recerca a escala nacional des del 2014. Compagina l’activitat acadèmica amb col·laboracions en diverses produccions periodístiques, reunions i esdeveniments sobre cultura lliure (free culture).

Eva Campos-Domínguez, Universitat de Valladolid

Doctora en Comunicació amb honors de la Universitat Complutense de Madrid, amb beca del Parlament per a recerca doctoral. Actualment, és professora del grau, postgrau i doctorat en Estudis Periodístics a la Universitat de Valladolid. Les seves àrees de recerca principal són la ciberdemocràcia parlamentària, la comunicació política i el periodisme online. Ha estudiat el desenvolupament de la comunicació parlamentària al Congrés dels Diputats a Internet des del 2004 fins avui.
