We have devoted this year’s second monograph of Artnodes to transmedia, a term that relates to the interconnection between different media to communicate a single story. In the last issue, we focused on a critical approach to the relationship between Art and Education, so now it makes sense to ask ourselves about the applicability of transmedia narrative to arts education. It seems appropriate that a journal such as ours which, during the course of its lifetime, has always given a space to different intersections between the arts, sciences and technology by analysing and sharing practices, methodologies and theories from around the world, should also dedicate an issue to exploring transmedia narratives, a fertile crossroads of different disciplines.
