The Bauhaus: the architecture of a pedagogical model

ABSTRACT: Between 1919 and 1933, the Bauhaus was established as an academic brainstorming center that encouraged students to deal with different materials and techniques. Teachers ran workshops where students made decisions and  expressed their creativity. On the eve of the 90th anniversary of its closure by the Nazi regime, the Bauhaus continues to be a model that, in addition to ensuring the technical training of its students, aspired to generate a new pedagogy based on experimentation and cooperative work.
