Resum

La política tradicionalment ha mirat l’exercici de la democràcia, com a mínim, amb dos supòsits implícits: (1) les institucions són el canal normal de la política i (2) la votació és el canal normal de la política per prendre decisions. Per descomptat, la realitat és més complexa, però totes les extensions d’aquest model al voltant de la votació es basen en les institucions com a l’eix central entorn al qual gira la política. En aquest treball volem qüestionar aquesta manera d’entendre la política com una acció proactiva i conscient, i proposar en el seu lloc una forma reactiva i inconscient de fer política, basada en petites contribucions. En el nostre enfocament teòric s’argumenta que les pràctiques de mitjans socials són “política informal”, i que els qui han de prendre les decisions polítiques les poden convertir en política real. Si són capaços d’escoltar. Si són capaços de pensar en la política fora de les institucions i en temps real.
