La sentencia objeto de análisis desestima la pretensión de la parte actora, la entidad Verdes Asturianos, contra la Consejería de Fomento y Medio Ambiente y el Ayuntamiento de Tordesillas, en la que se solicitaba la revisión y revocación del carácter tradicional del festejo taurino popular conocido como el “Toro de la Vega”. El estudio pretende profundizar en la demanda social –cada vez más imperiosa – de supresión de tales actividades amparadas bajo la idea de la “tradición”.
