The analyzed Sentence rejected the claim of the plaintiff, the entity ‘Verdes Asturianos’ (Green Asturian) against the Department of Development and Environment of Castilla y León and the City Council of Tordesillas. This claim had requested the revision and revocation of the consideration of ‘tradition’ for the popular bullfight known as the ‘Toro de la Vega’. This comment aims to deepen in the current social demand for the suppression of such activities, covered by the idea of being ‘traditions’.
