The main objective of this work is to undertake a global tutoring program for all 1st-year undergraduate students at the University of Girona to facilitate their adaptation to university, help them improve their learning and academic performance, and reduce first-year dropout rates. To this end, we propose a strategy based on tutorials and surveys to detect students’ weaknesses or aspects to be improved and, from there, consider an Action Plan involving students, teachers, and the institution. The results obtained in a pilot program performed give support to our proposal.
