Contributions to thinking about research in Social Work and mental health.

The objective of the work is to reflect on the current problems and approaches in Social Work research in the field of mental health in Argentina. From the bibliographic analysis we were able to observe that reflections on professional performance in mental health have been addressed through the systematization technique and specific topics and problems have also been explored from social research strategies. In relation to the most recurrent topics, the works systematize the intervention processes in specific scenarios, analyze the point of view of professionals and the experiences of users in the health system and problematize the advances in terms of rights. We consider that strengthening the spaces for research, analysis and writing allows us to treasure the exhaustive territorial development of the profession in the field of mental health, contribute to the construction of future research and promote the production of knowledge in Social Work.
