The monographic issue is a collection of papers presenting state-of-the-art researches on classical topics in (Italo)Romance linguistics such as auxiliary selection, subject clitic syntax, verbal morphology, negation, etc. Besides new empirical findings, the present volume contains innovative analyses, which can be extended to similar phenomena within the Romance domain and beyond.
