Aims and scope

Afinidad is diamond open access and peer-reviewed journal edited by the Associació d'Antics Alumnes of Institut Químic de Sarrià - Universitat Ramon Llull (AIQS). It was founded in 1921 and is one of the oldest chemistry journals that exists. 

The journal publishes three issues per year, showcasing research and reviews in chemistry, chemical engineering, process chemistry, and biotechnology. All articles are freely accessible online, with no publication fees for authors, reinforcing our commitment to open science and knowledge sharing.

The journal is indexed in WoS, SCOPUS, Dialnet, and Google Scholar, ensuring visibility and academic impact worldwide.
