This 28th Elisava Temes de Disseny issue offers an interdisciplinary outlook that allows us to reflect on the concept of speed. We do so from the standpoint of how fast we use and consume things in our immediate environment and how we perceive and process information.

Intangibility defines our society. Artefacts around us are triggering "new" relationships between people and the environment, habitat and urban space. Our intention is to pause for a moment and rethink the speed at which we want events to happen. How does all of this influence design process and practice?
