Composer Anna Rubin has long been active in electronic music. After receiving the doctorate from the department of music at Princeton, she taught at Oberlin from 1998 until 2002. She was director of the Lindhan Artists Scholars Program and the Visual Performing Arts interdisciplinary department between 2002-07 at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and now directs Certificate Program in American Contemporary Music at UMBC.
