Over fifteen years of compositional activity, Sergio Oliveira has become one of Brazil’s leading voices in contemporary music, something ratified internationally by his nomination for best classical composition in 2011 for the Latin Grammies, where he competed in this category with such figures as Lalo Schifrin and Paquito d’Rivera.
