This article shows that the game board found and still preserved in the natatio of the Caracalla’s Baths is the same as the one known from the previous bibliography, found in the same baths, which until now had been assumed lost. For the first time, measurements
and detail photos of this monument, a new edition after an autopsy inspection, a detailed analysis of the support and the text with their parallels are provided. Finally, a hypothesis on the phases of use of this multi-purpose monument and on its chronology is given.
