The fifth milestone on the iter ab Emerita Asturicam: first edition

The milestone corresponding to 5thmile of the so-called Vía de la Plata has been known for decades in its original location, but completely unnoticed by specialized research. In these pages we offer the first complete edition of this piece, very important because it constitutes the first milestone preserved in situ in this distinguished Roman road. In addition, we present a probable second unpublished fragment of this fifth milestone.
