Música simfònica i òpera a Vilafranca. Segle XVIII

In this paper we deal with music from different fields. Apart from evidencing the wealth of symphonic and operatic music that was produced and interpreted in El Penedès region and in Catalonia at large, it also highlights the presence of music in other aspects of life. This allows a singular approach to the 18th century and, more precisely, to the musical culture of that time, as well as a reassessment of the music and the musicians of 18th-century Catalonia and their position in the European context.
