This paper is focused on the regulation of the Catalan matrimonial property regime in
Tarragona associació a compres i millores. This matrimonial property regime is a local variant
of the participation property regime in Tarragona, that is in disuse. The paper offers practical
solutions to problems that may arise from the low-regulation of this matrimonial property
regime in the Catalan Civil Code.
