Pluralidad cultural y convivencia social

The integration of immigrant groups in the economically developed countries is one of the most important social problems today. Immigrants with their own world views and cultures find it difficult to attain recognition in the receiving countries which in turn also include culturally different and often conflictive groups. This paper reflects on this problem and suggests ethical and political criteria for cultural recognition in democratic societies.
