This article presents the results of the urgent archaeological excavation performed in Mas de Fabra, a settlement dating back to the 7th-6th century BC. The site was discovered during the construction of the N-340 bypass between the cities of Benicarló and Vinaròs. One of the site’s most interesting features is its location on a plain, between the Iberian settlement of Puig de la Nau and the coast, as this settlement pattern has never been observed in the area
Paraules clau
Old Iron Age, Phoenician pottery, Baix Maestrat, plain settlement
