Laura Ramírez holds a degree on Translation and Interpretation by Universitat Jaume I in Castellón and a postgraduate on Computational Linguistics by Ludwig-Maximlians-Universität in Munich, as well as a PhD on Controlled Languages and Machine Translation at Universitat de València. Currently Laura works as an associate lecturer at Universitat de Valencia EG, where she teaches Translation Technology and Documentation techniques to translators. She also has a 10-year experience as a freelance translator and language processes professional. Her main research interests are translation processes in industrial settings and translation technologies.
