Corporate responsibility for the termination of an employment contract is one of the core elements of the regulation of labour relations, occupying a pre-eminent position in the debates on employment policy. And the (unfruitful) attempts to combat the accentuated (and pathological) duality of the labour market and the need to achieve quality employment have brought this issue under constant review.
