The decision of the Guipúzcoa Provincial Court (Section 2), no. 139/2016, of 27 May
This decision is interesting due to the fact that it poses a question which may frequently occur in practice. What is noteworthy about this court decision is that it jointly sentences the parent of a minor, the Institution where they were studying and the institution’s insurance company, to pay €24,000 to the minor’s teacher as compensation for the damage caused by posting vexatious comments about them on a social network.
