This work shows provisory conclusions from two researches in progress on the teaching of recent History in schools within the Province of Buenos Aires. On this matter, the central theme of curriculum is the latest military dictatorship which ruled that country between 1976 and 1983.
Didactic, historiographical and political problems which interfere with the exposition of this subject in coursebooks and teaching practices are all analysed in this article
