Education of adults in the Community of Madrid during the last two decades of the 20th century

Adult education in the community of Madrid was clearly defined during the last decades of the 20th-century following three pedagogical models represented by social entities, establishments dependent on the Community of Madrid and establishments dependent on local governments, since these democratic self-governing regions came into existence in post-constitutional Spain. This article presents some indicators which shape the focal points of analysis: legislation, order of grants, concept of adult education, entities, student body, the faculty, volunteers, politicies about adult education in Madrid, projects, and methods.
