L'Assumptio de la Bíblia de Ripoll: problemes d'interpretació

Folio 370v. of the Bible of Ripoll contains two images. In the upper half there is a Virgin within a mandorla held vp by four angels, while in the lower half appears the symbol of the evangelist, Matthew. On the one hand, the article shows the difficulty in identifying the Marian representation with an Assumption, and on the other hand, it suggests relating this image with that of the angel in the lower half.
