Macrohomework: towards significant homework

This brief reflection revolves around a new concept, Macrohomework, an adaptation into Spanish of the word Homelearning, as used by Peter Hutton to refer to a new kind of homework which calls for the involvement of a wider range of educational agents, under an innovative and and cooperative approach. This paper aims to outline an implementation proposal adapted to Spanish society, based on the ideas and experiences of the Australian educator. Macrohomework is presented in contrast to Microhomework, being the latter similar to traditional homework, from which we need to depart and evolve.
