La cartografía en el ambito de las tecnologias de la informacion y la comunicación (TIC)

At school, the maps are a tool that teachers use to teach geography of the world, hence the maps are part of our existence since the early years of age; however, the use of cartography in the classroom often restricted to the location and storage of geographic features on similar maps. The purpose of this article is to present some tools belonging to the field of Geographic Information Technologies and other resources that can be incorporated into the classroom , that relate to mapping, and we can serve as support in our teaching , especially in the field of the social sciences. It also reflects on how to use the map in the classroom, considering that not only teach is to create a map , but to teach interpret.
