When turning in their material to Comparative Cinema, the authors comply with the publishing conditions of the magazine. All the authors preserve the rights of their works, but guarantee the first publication to Comparative Cinema.
The authors can re-do their material for other publications, but not before the definitive version is published in Comparative Cinema and is available as a citing reference. When reusing any kind of material, authors must recognize Comparative Cinema as the journal of original publication, with the corresponding reference.
Once the manuscript has been accepted, authors can upload them to their personal websites or institutional repositories, acknowledging the original publication in Comparative Cinema. The uploaded version will always be prior to the layout design by Comparative Cinema. Once the text is published in open access, the author is free to share and distribute the PDF document.
