María Zambrano expressed on many occasions, in a more or less explicit way, her interest in Cinema. This article delves into fundamental aspects of a philosophy taken by the mediation of the darkness through a blinding light, by the need of the intermittent, of the cut; by passivity and abandonment facing an image that requires to be completed, by the achievement of perpetual rebirth. As with many other matters noted here, these points would also define both the shutter mechanism in a cinematographic projector as well as a transcendental vision, in a state of delirium.
