ABSTRACT: All of Hegel’s philosophy is structured dialectically, that is, as circles that follow one another. Hegel’s philosophy of religion will also be constructed in this way. Thus his concept of God is constituted in a dialogic way as the union of the finite and the infinite that surpasses the finite, but preserves it. This union is reified in the incarnation of God-son as the union of the finite and the infinite, where God becomes total openness, never closed and always being constructed in a dialectical way. In addition, the trinity also has a dialectical constitution where God
the son and God the father are overcome by God-spirit who is the spirit of God, spirit of love and community still present in the finite but is the absolute.
