Analogies between the psychosocial context of the life of Jesús of Nazaret and the elite footballer. A study from a hermeneutical methodology

In our article, as the main objective, we will try to establish an analogy, between some of the essential facts of the life of Jesus of Nazareth and the characteristics of the life of today’s elite footballer. To carry out this work we will use a  hermeneutical methodology; both in the biblical field, as in football. In our study the main objective underlies a key axiom, we will try to explain that the understanding will not arise from the interpretation as if it were something external an ingenuous presupposition of classical hermeneutics. We will focus on the idea that understanding appropriates what is understood, therefore it is the development of the projected possibilities of understanding. The structure of all understanding is that of something as something, that is, that of an explanation that, moreover, is prior to all preaching and statement.
Our conclusions are aimed at accepting that between both contexts, we can establish analogies, a fact that will highlight the social and sacred dimension that elite footballers have become in our times.

KEYWORDS: Jesus Christ, soccer, holy Scriptures, hermeneutics.
