Comparative Study of Combat Actions in Youth (12-13 Years of Age) and Adult Karate Classes

As part of observational methodology, we designed an ad hoc observation instrument that enables sequential study of the different actions performed during karate combat. Using statistics and the detection of time patterns, this study seeks to compare technical and tactical performance in adult and youth competition and it also highlights important differences in competition in both of these categories.
