Several determiners and pronouns in the translation of Sallust's De Catilinae coniuratione into 15th century Spanish are analyzed in the present paper. The study points to variations typical of late 15th century Spanish. Moreover, the Spanish text was influenced by the fact that it was translated from Latin. The influence of the translator’s own language is also apparent: his Aragonese origins are reflected in diatopic variations in the text, which is not a pure Spanish translation.
